Baseline: Evaluate current agricultural methods used in the target regions, focusing
on small-scale farming and local environmental conditions, assessing resource utilization, production costs, and product quality.

Baseline: analyzing truffle value chains in Italy, Spain, Türkiye and Morocco to obtain a comprehensive overview
of the chains’ organization, main strengths and weaknesses, regulatory and institutional frameworks governing the
value chain, and the characteristics of truffle producers, processors and retailers, feasibility of combined truffle
cultivation and associated agroforestry practices

value chain analysis to understand the existing market dynamics and demand for products and ecosystem services
